At Mushunga Community Project in Ibanda District, Uganda, every month tells a new story of faith, love, and transformation. This October, we are celebrating two meaningful milestones that bring us closer to our vision of restoring dignity, providing education, and building a brighter future for orphaned and vulnerable children.
A New Toilet Block for Girls: A Step Toward Dignity and Health
We are thrilled to announce the completion of the new girls’ toilet block at Victorious Community School, an institution operated by the Mushunga Community Project.
For years, a lack of safe sanitation facilities has affected children especially girls in rural schools across Uganda. This newly constructed block represents far more than bricks and cement. It is a symbol of safety, hygiene, and gender equality.
When officially opened, it will provide a private, hygienic, and dignified space for girls to attend school comfortably and confidently. Beyond improving health, the new facility will strengthen school attendance and ensure that every girl at Mushunga can focus on learning, not on fear or embarrassment.
We extend our deepest gratitude to our donors, sponsors, and friends who made this project possible. Every contribution has helped us take one more step toward improving education and sanitation for rural children in Uganda.
Frank’s Visit: A Journey of Learning and Global Friendship

This month, Mushunga welcomed Mr. Frank, a longtime supporter and university professor from Germany. Frank will spend two weeks at the project, living and working alongside the children.
A scholar of ancient history, Frank has fully immersed himself in the day-to-day life of the orphanage and school. He has been teaching English, Social Studies, and creative arts, encouraging the children to speak confidently and think critically. His lessons are filled with laughter, curiosity, and discovery.
For the children, it is an unforgettable experience learning from a guest who has traveled across the world to share his time and knowledge. For our team, it is a reminder that education and compassion know no borders. Frank’s visit symbolizes the heart of Mushunga’s mission: connecting people across cultures to uplift the lives of children in need.
Gratitude and Hope
As we look around Mushunga, we see hope rising in the walls we build, in the classrooms we fill with laughter, and in the hearts of every child who now dreams of a brighter tomorrow.
The new toilet block for girls and Frank’s ongoing visit both reflect our shared commitment to child empowerment, education for all, and sustainable community development.
We are deeply grateful to everyone who continues to walk this journey with us. Our sponsors, board members, volunteers, and supporters from around the world. Your kindness makes transformation possible.
