Dear Mushunga Community,
As we closed the second school term on 15th August 2025, our hearts were filled with gratitude and joy. This milestone is more than just the end of a school term it is a testament to what faith, love, and shared commitment can accomplish.
To our sponsors, supporters, and dedicated management team: thank you for your unwavering support throughout Term Two. Your generosity, guidance, and prayers have been the foundation of our work. Because of you, our children are not only cared for but also thriving academically, emotionally, and spiritually.
Term Two Success & Student Spotlight

This term brought many reasons to celebrate, but one story shines especially bright.
Meet Christopher B, one of our beloved sponsored children. Out of 23 students in Grade Four, Christopher stood out as the best-performing student, securing the highest grades in his class. His commitment to his studies, his curiosity, and his discipline reflect the potential we see in every child at Mushunga when given the chance to learn in a safe and supportive environment.
Christopher’s achievement is more than just good grades—it is a story of hope. It shows what happens when a child once surrounded by uncertainty is given structure, love, and opportunity. His success is shared by each one of you who prays, supports, and gives to Mushunga.
“Train up a child in the way he should go, and when he is old he will not depart from it.” – Proverbs 22:6
Farm Sustainability: Sowing Seeds for the Future
At Mushunga, we believe sustainability is key to long-term transformation. This month, our farm has taken bold steps forward:
367 coffee seedlings planted – Coffee is a long-term crop that, once matured, will provide a steady source of income to sustain the project and the children’s education.
300 chicks procured for poultry – This poultry project will boost nutrition for the children while also generating revenue for daily needs.
Each seedling planted and each chick nurtured is a step toward independence. We envision a future where Mushunga provides not only for the children but also for the wider community through farming initiatives.
Clean Water for Mushunga
While we celebrate growth and success, one of our most urgent needs remains—a safe and reliable source of clean water. Without it, cooking, cleaning, and the children’s health remain at risk.
That is why our campaign to drill a permanent safe water source is still ongoing. Together, we can make this a reality.
How You Can Help:
Make a one-time or monthly donation toward the water project.
Share our campaign with friends, family, and networks.
Pray with us for provision and safety.
Every drop matters. Every act of generosity brings us closer to a healthier future for our children.
