As April draws to a close, we have much to celebrate and exciting news to share from the Mushunga Community Project!

Term Ends Strong, Holidays Begin with Learning!

We are incredibly proud of our children who finished the recent school term with great enthusiasm and effort! Their hard work and dedication have truly shone through, and we celebrated their achievements before the start of their well-deserved holiday break. To ensure their minds remain active and engaged during this time, we were delighted to distribute holiday learning packages to each child. These packages include educational materials and fun activities designed to keep them learning and growing even while school is out.

Exciting Visits from Our Board Members in June!

We are delighted to announce that two of our distinguished Board Members, Mr. Martyn and Mr. Geoff, will be visiting the Mushunga Community Project in June! We eagerly anticipate their visit, which will provide a valuable opportunity to showcase the progress of our initiatives and discuss future strategies.

Building Project Update: Plans Completed!

We have reached a significant milestone in our building project! The final architectural plans for the new buildings are now complete. This marks a crucial step forward, and we are excited to move forward, which will provide much-needed additional classrooms and facilities for our growing number of children.

Farm Update: New Bulls Join Our Sustainable Journey!

We are thrilled to share some exciting progress on our farmland project! We have recently welcomed two young bulls to the farm. This is a significant step towards our goal of generating income through livestock sales, which will help us finance our daily expenses and move closer to greater self-sufficiency. The bulls are settling in well, and we are optimistic about the future contributions they will make to our project.

Important Update Regarding Our Payment System:

Due to recent challenges stemming from the Trump administration's policies in the U.S., and in anticipation of the upcoming launch of our UK charitable foundation, we are currently reviewing and planning to make some changes to our payment system in the next month or so. These adjustments will help ensure the continued and efficient flow of support to the Mushunga Community Project. We will keep you informed of any specific changes and provide clear instructions on how you can continue to support our work.

Looking Ahead:

As the children enjoy their holidays and engage with their learning packages, our team continues to work diligently on various aspects of the project, including preparing for the upcoming board member visits, moving towards the building phase, and finalizing the transition of our payment system. We remain committed to providing a nurturing and empowering environment for the children of Mushunga.
